Pathogenic Bacteria
Pathogenic bacteria are bacteria that causes disease, also called food poisoning bacteria. They are extremely dangerous, because food they are in can look, smell and taste absolutely fine.
Some foods, such as meat, eggs, and fish, for example, naturally contain a number of pathogenic bacteria. This is known as inherent contamination, but because pathogenic bacteria usually need to multiply to large numbers in order to be dangerous, it is not automatically harmful. There are some pathogenic bacteria that are particularly dangerous and need only to be present in small amounts.
