Water for cooking and washing foodstuff
- Use only potable water
- Potable water is usually the cold water which comes from the mains.
- Never use water from overhead tank for cooking or washing food.
- If potable water is stored in a tank, it has to be cleaned, maintained and tested periodically to ensure potability.
