How to Display-Letters

Food businesses have devised many ways of displaying allergens on the menus

Letters

The following letter or letters may be used under each menu to warn customers of food allergen presence:

Gluten = G

Crustaceans = C

Eggs = E

Fish = F

Molluscs = M

Soybeans = S

Peanuts = P

Nuts = N

Milk = MK

Celery = CY

Mustard = MD

Sesame Seeds = SS

Sulphites = SP

Lupin = L

It is also required to record what each letters or set of letters means at the bottom of the menu to avoid confusions to the customer.
