Staff Changing Room and Toilet Facilities
Staff changing rooms and toilet facilities should be located as near as possible to the staff entrance, so that employees can change into clean work clothing before entering food preparation areas. It is very important that food staff do not share toilet facilities with non-food staff such as customers. If the staff toilet facilities are opening into a food room, then a lobby area which is ventilated by the outside air must be provided between the toilet area and the food room.
